On the 3.1.0 beta release we support the Discourse AI plugin as an optional plugin on the Professional plan and up.
The Discourse AI plugin utilizes a variety of open source models which are incorporated into our hosting services at no additional charge. To utilize OpenAI or Anthropic, you will need to provide your own API key and configure it within the plugin settings.
We have pre-configured the URLs and API keys for the open source models on your behalf.
All open source models are hosted by us within the European Union and adhere to GDPR regulations, ensuring compliance in line with our other hosting services. We would like to emphasize that the automatic flagging feature may potentially conflict with GDPR Article 22, which pertains to “Automated individual decision-making, including profiling.” Therefore we strongly recommend obtaining explicit consent from your users during the sign-up process.
